Blog of the Year Award

I don’t care if it’s an academy award or the gifting of an award by a fellow blogger who was nice enough to select me from the blogs they read.. either way.. I’m super honored.  Honestly I started this blog as a way to talk about the strange, exciting, wonderful, scary and vexing things I was experiencing as I embraced and embarked on my journey into polyamory.  It’s been a heck of a journey and it’s been nice to have a place to put all of this stuff.  I’m amazed anyone reads it and honored to be followed, liked, commented on and now recognized by a blogger I really like.  You should check out her fun and engaging blog.  She really rocks!  Her name is L and she writes

So.. here’s the award type info:

Here are my nominees (In no order):

Adhava is a young Christian wife who has chosen to engage in a full time D/s relationship with her newlywed but not new husband.  She chronicles her journey and life and it’s fricking riveting.

Ellisariasand, Jack of all Triads, and Clara the Great post thoughts and observations about a variety of stuff, not the least of which is their triad.  It’s at times funny, nerdy, and insightful.  I love that all three of them post and they say really interesting things about the nature of polyamory to them and just have a bunch of cool posts.  I have to admit.. it’s pretty damn sexy a lot of the time too. 🙂

Nate writes a blog called Speaking Out in Class.  He is a husband, father and writer and he writes about a variety of topics, including sex and school, cooking, games, his family, his views on all kinds of life.  He has posts with doodles and writes a kinky fuckery series that is especially good. Unlike me, he’s not anonymous, but he writes as freely as though he were.  His blog is very well written and a highlight on my own reader.

a secret blog about a polyamorist and sex worker and her exploits.  🙂  She’s very very honest in the best possible sense and writes about a pretty fascinating life.  It’s an experience sometimes that I find totally new.  Fascinating stuff.  Plus she’s just wild.  Good times.

A kinky triad perving out.  🙂  Hera, Corwin and Cricket post answers to kinky prompts, and write articles on fun times they are having, their views of kink, polyamory and life as a triad.  Very sexy but also just very fascinating and educational.

The Narcassist’s Blog is written by Teri, a professional writer and fearless woman.  She writes about dating, sex, sexuality, kink, blogging and herself.  She’s also pretty damn fearless in her writing.. touching on everything from funny posts about guys she doesn’t want to date to her feelings about her squirting.

Seattle Poly Guy is a closeted polyamorist man in Seattle.  I am a fan and our blogs are not connected regardless of the fact that I’m a hopeless copier and I took a name to similar to his for my blog.  He’s funny, deep, insightful, self introspecting and deeply honest.  The writing is good and he writes about his own journey to be an adult and his experiences with polyamory.  Amazeballs.

I hope you enjoy all their blogs.  I would nominate more honestly… but I’m tired and I need to get ready for work.  Check these out though.. they rock.

  1. Whhheeee, thank you very very much (I added a very from the last thank you) for the nomination and the kind words. I tried to get my kids to read the kind words, but they didn’t see a Ninja Turtle, Hello Kitty, or their own names. 🙂
